Events not triggering

Hey I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but I assume when you define an event in the animation the corresponding event would be triggered in the browser, but when I listen for the event nothing is triggered.

    componentDidMount() {
        window.addEventListener('Event_Stop', this.handleResetAnimation);
    }

The event name is "Event_Stop" for testing purposes
