ENSO_seasonality instructions from spreadsheet:

name: sst_boreal_winter

read 'variable1' over the period 'time_model' or 'time_obs'
change units to degC
mask land
detrend time series linearly
spatial average over 'region1'
select NDJ values
remove time mean
compute temporal standard deviation

name: sst_boreal_spring
read 'variable1' over the period 'time_model' or 'time_obs'
change units to degC
mask land
detrend time series linearly
spatial average over 'region1'
select MAM values
remove time mean
compute temporal standard deviation

name: sst_ratio
compute the ratio sst_boreal_winter / sst_borel_spring

absolute relative difference between obs sst_ratio and mod sst_ratio
100 * abs((mod - obs) / obs)

Observations are different datasets but for the model it should be the same ACCESS-ESM1-5

Asymmetry diagnostic level 2:
lines might need to be more smooth but values also look a bit high.
