Timeseries are currently problematic since neither iris not mule can work with them.

It would still be good to have a way to convert a restart file with timeseries (or any file having timeseries in it) to NetCDF.

Best thing at this stage, would probably be to isolate the timeseries and produce a NetCDF file only with timeseries.

um_timeseries can be a good starting point for this.
