What versions of npm and nodejs do you have installed?

I just got the 1.7 homebridge update prompt, it appears that it requires node.js 18.15 or higher. However, I don’t think this has been upgraded to support any node.js higher than 14 (not supported anymore) In fact the last commit was in 2021. Switchmate has kind of gone away too, it’s not as prevalent as it used to be.

As for node.js, I’ve noticed that when upgrading the system, it messes with homebridge, so I now let it install only having an association with my homebridge.

any other ideas?

I have no idea,....the light switches worked decently for me and I liked not having to replace the physical switch but I guess if I can't reinstall the plugin then I'll have to retire them. i do know the most recent (10/27) update to the homebridge UI causes the system to not come back up so I did a reinstall and skipped that update.
