Factorio: Option to move quality mod techs into other techs #5651

What feature would you like to see?

Given that options exist that allow rewarding quality items on a tech unlock, the quality mod should be supported, but right now all techs are unmodified and can be freely researched.

I'd personally do the following if quality is detected as enabled:

  • Hide all the quality techs (module 1/2/3, quality epic/legendary, recyclers)
  • Move quality modules into productivity module tech, plus ONLY uncommon quality
  • Move rare/epic/legendary qualities into efficiency module tech
  • Move the recycler into productivity module techs to match the quality modules unlocking

I've tested uneven quality unlocks (progressive techs off) and things behave normally, if you unlock uncommon+epic you can't create epic items due to not having rare quality unlocked.
