(Unsure if bug or intended) 16:9 backgrounds being cut off to the right

Im unsure if this was like this before or was a recient bug.

I have noticed that 16:9 backgrounds appear cut off to the side rather than streched to fit the viewport. This can be arranged by setting the viewport to 16:9.

However, i do not remember if this was previously the case on the default web viewport, i certainly do not remember it being so. But i could be wrong.

Noticed this for the first time yesterday.

The intention for 16:9 backgrounds in a 4:3 viewport is to be vertically scaled to fit the height and be horizontally centred, so cut off at the left and right side.
