This would probably be better to ask on the Unreal forums. It depends on which version of UE5 you mean. If it is UE 5.0 I think the answer is no. If it is UE 5.5 then you can tweak a referenced MaterialX shader on a USD stage. |

Is it possible to edit or tweak the shader on a usd file , in unreal engine 5 ?
Currently whenever i tweak or make any differences in shader , its effecting the entire asset even with multiple shaders applied.
Eg , a Carrot , i tweak the shader of the leaf , but its changing the entire shader of the body and the leaf together. I need to be able to tweak these separately.
Any solutions for this ?
