Description

MSAL is the only 1 lib which is not working for my project, all other libs works correctly:
Alamofire, AMSMB2, Facebook, Firebase, GoogleSignIn-iOS, SwiftyDropbox and many more..

So reasonably to say, that this is a bug.

This is not a "solution" #2538 since I'm not using transporter, Xcode only and again, it works for any other lib in the project.

So this is the workaround I went with. It's a bit annoying because it requires some manual steps when upgrading but it should work for the time being.

1. Download the iOS dSYM zip file from the releases page on github
2. Inside the zip file is an xcarchive, explore the package contents and in here is the dSYM file you need
3. I put this dsym file inside a dSYMs folder inside my project directory (I also recommend you add a .gitattributes file with YOUR_ROOT/dSYMs/** filter=lfs diff=lfs merge=lfs -text so that the dSYM contents is included in your repo using LFS since they are large files that you should never be modifying anyway)
4. Then you just need to make sure it is included in the archive. Easiest way is to add a build phase which does this. Here is the one I use called "Copy MSAL dSYM" which runs at the very end.

Script does the following:

1. The "${ACTION}" != "install" check ensures this only runs during Archiving.
2. Checks the dSYM exists else it exits with an error
3. Checks the UUIDs match else it exists with an error (otherwise it will silently succeed and then warn again during validation)
4. Copies the dSYM file in to the dwarf dsym folder where all the other dsyms are

My team only builds for iOS so this works and validation now succeeds. If you also need Mac OS you might need to make some changes here to make it use a different dSYM depending on the target platform.

This is really odd... "solution" any other library works fine in my app, only this one...
Well, I already removed it(this SDK) fully from my app, now I only use custom OAuth and saved a lot of app size after removing it, really old outdated library that should be rewritten from scratch..
