Tap Tempo through M Vave Chocolate Plus

Hi!
I'm controlling the preset changing with the Waveshare 4.3B and the M Vave Chocolate Plus (BT mode); is it possible to assign a tap tempo function to a switch of the M Vave Chocolate Plus?

Hi.
I'm no expert on the Chocolate pedals, but I have seen them being able to send Midi Control change values via the advanced mode.
If you set it to send Midi CC 10 (the other payload bytes don't mater) than you should be able to get tap tempo working. make sure to press the footswitch at least twice, so the code can measure the elapsed time and calculate the bpm.

Hi. In the web config, on the "Int" tab there is the preset mode. Change this to Disabled and it should fix your issue.

i've reinstalled the last firmware, and tried again, but the issue remains; I press the save button when I disable the internal preset layout and after the controller reboots, it's shown as Disabled, the CC command is correct, but the Ampero Switch continues to work as Preset Up/Down; I post some photos to show the connection and the web config menu

You’ve got all the wiring wrong my brother. To connect a wired midi to 4.3B, you need a TTL converter.

check the wired midi section. The wiring is also different like shown below.

This is not Midi, its directly connected footswitches on the 4.3B. Those pins are correct for this.

I'll run some more tests and try to figure out what is going on.
