It would be very helpful if payers posted on their Transparency in Coverage page contact information or add a form for reporting problems with the machine readable files.
The alternative is for the consumers of the files to report the compliance problems to the government. That process would inevitably be much slower and the specific details of an easy to correct problem may be lost in the "game of telephone".
Several payers already have email addresses up for this purpose, but I would encourage others to add them. If you are using a vendor to produce the files, then please request that the vendor provides this support. The users of the files are reviewing thousands of files and are very likely to be the first to identify issues.
