Hi @clovis517 This is interesting - thanks for bringing it up. Do you have an example of a file that you can point to? I wonder how much of this duplication can be cut down by breaking these bundles into smaller in-network files and then referencing them in a ToC, but hard to say without seeing examples. |

For some payers the primary contributor to large file sizes is replication of a Bundled Code Array consisting of all surgical and non-surgical procedure codes and descriptions to be paid under the surgical bundle, repeated across every surgical procedure code, across hundreds of facilities with individually negotiated surgical rates. The replication can be avoided by using a Bundled Code Reference Object in place of the Bundled Code Array, as follows:
In-Network Object : Add the following alternative for reporting Bundled Code Arrays
Bundled Code Reference Object : Identical to Bundle Code Object but with a primary key
