Hi! Thank you for helping improve Calamares. If you are seeing a problem in installing a specific distribution, you should probably report the problem in the distribution's bug tracker, first. That helps filter out issues with packaging, mis-configuration, etc. that Calamares has no control over. If you are a distribution packager or maintainer, this page is for you.

Describe the bug

Please remove the ability to select several desktop environments during installation

This causes the system to not have graphical login after the first boot once installation is complete

64 bit machine

EFI

2 SSDs nvme, 512 gb and 1 TB

A clear and concise description of what the bug is. Please include 32/64 bit machine details, EFI/BIOS details, and disk setup.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

Install cachyos using the calamares installer
During setup, where there's a list with check boxes select several desktop environments
Continue installation
Reboot once installation is complete into cachyos
Boot will be stuck at running hook Plymouth, it is still possible to log in by pressing Ctrl+alt+f3
