(Option to) remove the trailing slash in the generator element

After validating a site built with Cecil on the w3 validator, it gave an info message:

Info: Trailing slash on void elements has no effect and interacts badly with unquoted attribute values.

Describe the solution you'd like

While it's only an info message and not a warning, it might be nice to consider (at least optionally) being able to remove the trailing slash from the generator tag.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Forking just for that, but that is not worth it for the info message's sake

Hello @Denperidge, yep this is an old problem to fix: I should take the time to remove old references to the artificial closing tag " />".
