Some of these vocab words have cadence/tone markings that are different than I’m used to.

  1. I believe ᎠᎪᏩᏘᎭ should have a lengthening : symbol after “gowh” so that it reads à:gowh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 269, number 17.
  2. On ᎠᏂᎪᏩᏘᎭ, I think there needso to be an : on both “ni” and “gowh” so that it reads à:ni:gowh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 271, number 61.
  3. For ᏓᎪᏩᏘᎭ, I believe that there needs yo be an : on the “gowh” so that it reads dà:gowh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 269, number 24.
  4. I think ᏓᏂᎪᏩᏘᎭ, I believe there needs to be an : on both the “ni” and the “gowh”, so that it reads dà:ni:gowh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 271, number 68.
  5. On ᎦᏙ ᏧᏍᏗ/“which ones?” (inanimate), I think there needs to be an : after the “do” in gadō: jü:sdi (except with the double accent on the “ju”). This is similar to number 1 from my notes on Chapter 5.
  6. I think on ᎦᏙ ᎤᎾᏍᏗ/“which ones?” (animate), there needs to be an : after the “do” and an : after the “un” so that it reads gadō: ün:sdi (except with the double accent on the “ju”). This is similar to number 1 from my notes on Chapter 5.
