Hello, I'm trying out the http-post-plugin, but I don't understand how to configure it. Is this a work in progress, or am I missing out on how this works?

same problem here, after installing the plugin and afterwards activating for a build there is no field to enter the URL, any hints?

I'm having the same issue. No way to configure the plugin. I even restarted the build server.

Configuration is global in the main Jenkins setting area, however the plugin seems abandoned. The plugin doesn't integrate with global credentials manager and the lack of ability to specify more than one endpoint is a problem. Recommend removing from Jenkins repo. Simple CURL command works fine as a substitute, albeit not as neat.

Sorry for the delay.

I just recognized that there is a fork over at xautlx/http-post-plugin@7476a3e that allows additional HTTP headers at job level.

This can be easily adopted to allow custom URLs and fallback to the global URL. Unfortunately I don't have time right now to tackle this issue, but I'd be more then happy to accept Pull Requests for this.

I came here with the same questions.. it is unclear that the plugin needs configuring at a global level and appears broken when built/uploaded as a HPi.
