I am facing error on comfy UI I have copied the files in Model, folder still the UI says it is missing the model,,, please guide how to fix this thanks

This is almost always a backend/configuration issue rather than a frontend bug. Here are the most common causes and fixes:

1. Wrong subfolder – Models must go in the correct subfolder under models/. For example, checkpoints go in models/checkpoints/, LoRAs in models/loras/, VAE in models/vae/, etc. If the file is in the wrong folder, ComfyUI won't detect it [1].

2. Restart required – ComfyUI only scans for models at startup. If you added files while it was running, restart ComfyUI so it picks them up [1] [2].

3. Filename mismatch – The workflow may expect an exact filename (including case and extension). Make sure the model filename matches what the workflow nodes require [2].

4. Custom model paths – If you're using extra_models_config.yaml for custom model locations, double-check the paths are correct [2].

Quick troubleshooting checklist:

• Verify the model is in the correct models/<subfolder>/ directory
• Restart ComfyUI after adding files
• Check that the filename and extension match exactly what the workflow expects
