Possible locations for the log file:

/opt/dagos/usage.log
~/.dagos/usage.log

Especially when installing environments from scratch different users may be used, so a central location where everyone or at least members of a dedicated group are allowed to write to would make sense.

Best to configure logs to go to STDERR and pipe that to a file as well as console. Thereby the CLI help output doesn't have to be logged as well.
