Question about DSP0277 version roadmap and DSP0289 support in libspdm

Hi,

I have a question regarding the future roadmap of libspdm in relation to recent DMTF specifications.

According to the DMTF release, both DSP0277 version 1.3.0 and 2.0.0 were published on December 8, 2025.

I would like to understand the direction of libspdm development regarding these versions.

Questions on DSP0277

• Does libspdm plan to adopt DSP0277 version 1.3.0 or move directly to version 2.0.0?
• Is there an expected timeline for when this update will be integrated into libspdm?

Questions on DSP0289

• Are there any plans to support the DSP0289 specification in libspdm?
• If yes, is there an estimated timeline or roadmap for adding this support?

DSP0277

Yes. there is plan for DSP0277 1.3.0. It will be supported directly by libspdm.
277 2.0.0 is totally new. There is no plan at this moment. It will be discussed later.

DSP0289

Yes, there is plan for DSP0289. It will be considered after libspdm 4.0.
