language server extraction fails on Windows #488

Platform: Windows 10

Installing the plugin and running :Codeium Auth yielded the following error in my log file: Failed to download language server binary.

Looking into the .codeium/bin folder, the .gz file for the language server was downloaded properly, but the extraction failed.

Manually extracting the binary resulted in things working as expected.

The issue I'm facing is that after executing the command :Codeium Auth, there are no prompts and the code editing doesn't seem to be taking effect.
