What Operating System

Windows 11

Debug Code

Not Needed

Describe the bug

hello I published a modpack on witchforge when I want to install it on FTB the shaders and resourcespack files are put in the mods folders so not in the right location but on curseforge and Prism it works correctly

Steps to reproduce

go to ftb search for the modpack modpack code: 1155774 (The Night of Fear) and if you launch the game you go to resourcespack or shaders we can't find them so we go to the folders and I was in the mods folder where I found them

Expected behaviour

I would like the resource pack and shader files to land in the correct folders

No response

Additional information

if you want the ZIP file tell me

Hay, thanks for the issue! Unfortunately it looks like you've not provided a Debug code... We require this as it helps us find your issue as quickly as possible.

Please do the following

Upload Logs using the app

Open the Settings page in the FTB App, then go to the app tab and click on the Upload Logs button, this might take a few seconds to complete. Once it's done, you will see a message saying that the code has been copied to your clipboard.

Either edit your original issue or add a comment with this code.

Using the FTB Debug tool

Only use this method if asked to or if your app wont open fully/the above method doesn't work, you can use the FTB Debug tool to generate a code for you.

Please use the link below to download and run the FTB Debug tool. This is a tool built by our App Developers and will provide you a code that you need to attach to this issue. Please either edit your original issue or add a comment with this code. If you need more help running this tool, you can follow our guide on how to use the FTB Debug tool.

I told Choupi to report this. It seems that the FTB App doesnt handle resource packs correctly. For example, I can download the mentioned modpack on Curseforge app and Prism launcher, both of those place the shaders/resourcepacks correctly. When using the FTB App, it places them in the mods folder.
My guess is the FTB App sees them as mods since they're in the modlist.html/manifest.json. So I think the app needs to further check whether it's a mod vs resource pack vs shader pack, etc.
