Currently, the ability to access the transform edit window is tied to the "show parent scenes?" option in the dock creator. I think these settings are far too important to be behind this option since its label (show parent scenes?) initially doesn't seem as important.

Describe the solution you'd like
If Icon spacing is an issue and can be toggle on like properties, filters etc, then I think creating a similar submenu that "show parent scenes?" has to the "properties" gear would be an excellent way to save space.

The issue I see with this:

Transform and show/hide are both parent scene dependent. If I have a source FaceCam in two different scenes, I need to have the ability to toggle it off/on and show the transform window in each of those scenes separately. So there is no way to show this inline for just the source, hence the parent scenes button, and the pop-out menu that occurs.

If you have a mock-up of what this would look like, I am happy to revisit it.
