Wrong behaviour of `skip_segments`

Incorrect distance reported

For a point-to-point route, once the skip_segments parameter is provided the geometry changes to direct line between the original (unsnapped) points, however, the the reported distance increases. Consider the following example where the distance changes from 0.9 km to 1.2 km even though the actual distance measured between the points is < 0.9 km.

Unexpected geometry

Another observed issue is the unexpected geometry for intermediate skip segments. For a route involving two intermediate points marking the skipped segment, the starting point for the segment is returned in the geometry as snapped, whereas the end point of the segment remains unsnapped. The geometry of the segment following the snapped segment is altered, see screen below.
