Is 'jQuery latest' actually the correct dependency? #415

I see in the Beginner's Guide of your documentation that you have this instruction for jQuery --

However, I also know that Google stopped updated the 'latest' link years ago as mentioned in this blog post. They've locked the 'latest' link at 1.11.1

So what version of jQuery should we be getting? 1.11.1? Or the actual latest? 3.4.1?

I tried removing that as the page already had 3.4.1 loaded up but it broke the gallery, saying;

I guess 'w' had a more meaningful name before minification !

As you say, the googleapis .js on the end of the link is v1.11.1. My page already has 3.4.1 loaded so I'd love to drop the googleapis.com reference too if possible.
