expanding a large task with a markdown image can't be collapsed

I'm experiencing an issue where, after expanding a large task with markdown image in it, I'm unable to collapse it back. When I press the "show less" button, the button disappears, but the task remains expanded.

The only way to resolve this is by refreshing the screen with a downward swipe.
