Ktor Plugin support

Hi!

At our company we are integrating socket.io into our Android and iOS apps and are looking at different Kotlin/KMP solutions. This project looks the most appealing because it's actively maintained and you seem dedicated to it. Are you considering this project a successor to the dyte-io/socketio-kotlin library? Because that seems to be abandoned.

We are also working on a reusable KMP networking library/configuration to be reused across multiple projects and we'd love to integrate socket.io there too but for this to work nicely we'd need ktor plugin support, so that we can reuse our HttpClient. Is this something you would consider? Possibly as a separate module. I think this would be a valuable Ktor integration and would further enrich the Ktor ecosystem.

I have been studying the code and it seems that we can inject our own HttpClient to be used under the hood. However, I still think it would be a really nice addition with a good Ktor plugin integration :)
