Sometimes things get deleted that shouldn't have been. Needs moar undo.

Could appear to moderators as a page with a list of deleted posts (á la 4chan's archive pages) with buttons to restore posts and/or checkboxes and a single restore button.

Deleted posts would need to be stored temporarily somewhere in order to be restored (á la Windows recycle bin).

Would need:

  • a place where deleted posts are stored
  • to support both OPs and replies
  • to restore replies when an OP is restored
  • an option for permanent deletion (to prevent storage and restoration of illegal material)
  • automatic purging of posts older than X period of time

Possible hax/shortcut: deleted posts/threads get moved to a hidden board where they remain until enough deleted posts are made to knock the older ones off the index.
