cell selection for Grouped data in Grid

Description

We have a scenario in which Grouped data is loaded in Grid, with an option of select grid cells.
When we select single or multiple cells for Group 1 and then collapse the Group 1, the selection of cells now shows in Group 2.
Please use this example to replicate the issue :

• igniteui-angular version: 20.0.14
• browser: Chrome

Steps to reproduce

1. Load Grouped data to the grid.
2. The selectionMode for the Grid is either set to single or multiple.
3. Do a single cell or multiple cell selection in any Grouped data, suppose we have Group Rio de Janerio and Sao Paulo as given in below screenshot. We select few cells in Group Rio de Janerio and then collapse the Group.

Result

We see the cell selection gets Transferred to Group Sao Paulo as if we selected cells from Group Sao Paulo, which is not the case. Please refer the screenshot below:

Expected result

In perfect scenario, the cell selection should remain in Group Rio de Janerio, even if we collapse or expand group. The selection should not be reflected on Group Sao Paulo after collapse of Group Rio de Janerio.

@ChronosSF Just an FYI

Some features like cell selection and activation are currently index based (store row and column index, not data record refs). Because of that any operation that would change the row or column index would change the selected data. There are in fact integration test scenarios that check exactly that behavior (see grid-cell-selection.spec.ts and the Features integration section), including for Grouping.

If you're aiming to change that behavior, it would be a breaking change.
