I'd love support for storing passwords in a .kdbx file. This would allow users to easily switch from apps like KeepassX, KeeWeb etc.
I also assume this would be more secure since it's an existing tried and tested format.
Maybe there are opensource libraries that allow you to easily use that format?

It would be possible that you export your passwords first as raw XML file (File -> Export -> "KeePass XML (2.x)") and then you can import that XML file and PassIt will do the rest. But delete or shred that file after your done, because it's unencrypted.

I'm currently thinking it will be better to do a web based application because I have some trouble with Vala, it's just not my thing and I'm more conformal with NodeJS and TypeScript. But If I change to web based I can't publish it on ElementaryOS official 😞
