Executable Documentation

I recently came across 2 papers:

• Executable Documentation: Test-First in Action
• Executable Documentation: From Documentation Languages to Purpose-Specific Languages

Skimmed them both, and they seem quite good. Long-winded in places, but quite concrete and specific. It seems less ambitious than Drasil, but nevertheless playing in a somewhat similar playground. The emphasis on documentation is nice.

I'm thinking we might want to use this discussion as a place to gather such "related work", and then when things settle a bit, put the good parts on the Wiki somewhere. (Specifically pinging @szymczdm as this is relevant for you.) Certainly things like literate programming, org-mode and the FOAM2 framework / FOAM3 (though the best description with good videos is on their old web site ).
