Cloning repository with multiple workspaces

We have an issue with a repo containing multiple workspaces. Apparently, it was possible to create Global Environments and sync them to a repo which already contained data (and particularly workspaces). This repo works fine for the users which have it already (there are 5 Environments and 2 Collections in the repo). However, cloning no longer works due to the error:

Multiple workspaces found in repository. Expected one.

Do you have a suggestion on how to proceed?

Look I am giving a structure pattern to solve this

1. Check the repo structure: Confirm if it should have multiple workspaces or just one.

2. Split workspaces: If it has multiple, move each workspace to its own repo.

3. Merge into one workspace: If only one workspace is needed, combine everything into that and delete extras.

4. Export/import: Export the collections and environments, then re-import them into a clean repo.
