Hah, sorry,...premature note. There was some mention of without some authentication anyone can see anyone's payout and make a payment. Personally I don't think the email scheme offers much protection, but it does offer the the illusion of protection.

I don't really have an opinion on this yet, wanna chew on it some more.

probably need to change to IP based settings, that pay now button could get hilarious when ppl paste wallet address into chat , if we get to keep chat

it might require changes in the pool code - setting your own password for changing the payout threshold is a good feature I think, although looking at it from experience - it was a pain in the ass for many users to understand it...
also there always was a "password" option in the miner, but never used by the pools in reality...
