ANTS and UG-ANTS: potential trunk breakages

The upcoming ANTS 2.1 and UG-ANTS 0.2 releases are driven by porting requirements. One consequence of this is that we may need to break the trunks at various points between now and the releases. If you're creating a new core ANTS or core UG-ANTS branch for development, please either wait for the releases (expected early February) or branch from revision 17420 of the trunk, e.g.:

For ANTS: fcm bc -k NNNN NNNN_branch_name fcm:ancil_ants.x_tr@17420
For UGANTS: fcm bc -k NNNN NNNN_branch_name fcm:ancil_ugants.x_tr@17420

(Where NNNN is the ticket number). Similarly, for branches in contrib or ug-contrib, you may need to update the install_cold task in the rose stem test suite to checkout revision 17420 of core ANTS/UG-ANTS trunk. For ANTS contrib branches, update rose-stem/app/install_cold/rose-app.conf to replace:

[file:$ROSE_SUITE_DIR/share/fcm_make_ants/build]
source=fcm:ancil_ants.xm/trunk

with:

[file:$ROSE_SUITE_DIR/share/fcm_make_ants/build]
source=fcm:ancil_ants.xm/trunk@17420

For UGANTS ug-contrib branches, replace all references to source=fcm:ancil_ugants.xm/trunk in rose-stem/app/install_cold/rose-app.conf with source=fcm:ancil_ugants.xm_tr@17420.
