Describe the bug

While attempting to connect to OpenSea using the in-app browser on Android. You can’t connect to opensea.io with the standard wallet option or WalletConnect.

Expected behavior

When you connect to OpenSea you are able to use the standard connection workflow and the WalletConnect workflow.

  1. Go to in-app browsers
  2. Navigate to Opensea.io
  3. Click login
  4. Click MetaMask/WalletConnect
  5. Observe Failure

This issue was the result of a dapp bug not the MM wallet. The root cause was identified as an issue with opensea's new v2 rollout. Here
