View All Annotations or Transactions for a Member (MDS Add-in for Excel)

In the [!INCLUDEssMDSshort] [!INCLUDEssMDSXLS], view annotations (comments) and transactions for rows of data (members) when you want to view updates to the data over time.

Prerequisites

To perform this procedure:

  • You must have an active worksheet that contains MDS-managed data.

  • The entity Transaction Log Type must be Member or Attribute.

To view annotations or transactions

  1. Click a cell in the row that contains transactions you want to view.

  2. Right-click and from the menu that's displayed, click View Transactions or View History.

  3. In the View Transactions dialog box, the list of transactions is displayed. To view all annotations associated with a transaction, click a row in the grid.
