Use the Editor page of the Global Settings dialog box to specify settings for code editor windows.
To access the editor settings, navigate to Tools > Global Settings, select GUI at the bottom of the left pane, and then select Editor.
To display line numbers in code editor windows, select True.
If a code editor window is selected when you change this setting, you might need to reselect the current object to update the display.
