I have no idea who actually reads these discussions, but here goes!
tl;dr: I'm back and working on the project again, after taking a 6-month break.
Sadly, this is a story that is all too common in the open-source community. I have been feeling rather burnt-out over the past couple of years, and this has resulted in having to step away from the project.
I tried for a few months to do some minimal work, mostly to respond to issues, do a few bug fixes and generally keep the lights on, but around August of last year, I almost stopped doing all software development outside my day job.
I have been slowly starting to get back into working on this project again, as it's something I really enjoy. I apologize to the several folks who left bug reports and feature requests on the project, that did not have a response. I plan to get around to looking into and responding to everything as time permits.
I also know a couple of folks left some really pull requests on the project, and I am afraid that some changes that I am making to get the project back into good shape will probably cause a number of merge conflicts. I apologize for trampling over those changes, and I will try to incorporate your changes once I get a chance.
