Empty project dashboard and "Recent Projects" after loading error with the last project

Describe the bug
When auto loading the last project at startup renders an erro (i.e. thorugh manually editing and introducing a syntax errr) MF project dashboard and "Recent Project" in the file menu is empty.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Create a syntax erro in the last loaded project
2. Start MF
3. MF shows erro popup "Your Config could not be loaded. Please check for syntax errors."
4. After clicking OK the project dashboard opens and is empty.

Expected behavior
After clicking OK the project dashboard with the list of projects should open

Thanks for reporting! The project should only be skipped but should not cause this empty dashboard state.

Yes, I needed a „number to letter“ conversion for the full alphabet and did this as copy-pastes in the file. I forgot a comma and at next start of MF got the popup and no entries. Cleaned the error and everything was back again.

As you can see it’s not only the dashboard but also the recent project list so seems a complete phase of loading config is skipped.
