We can not add any material in sample tracker
Can you make possible to add a material without having to add a grain size ?

Materials can only be added by Admins directly to the pychron database or via the SampleTracker admin page

All materials in the pychron database have an associated grain size but a value does not have to be provided. e.g. there are entries in the db for "Sanidine", "Sanidine coarse", "Sanidine fine" and "K-feldspar", "K-feldspar >20"... the grain size is a simple modifier that doesn't have to be specified if you do not want.

Just a last question:
For a sample, if I select an other material (e.g. groundmass), when I submit, sample is record as feldspar or biotite, and not with the right material.
It seems that when I add a grain size, in this case, sample is record with the good material. Unfortunately sometime, I don’t have the grain size used, and I don’t want to record with a wrong one.
