I am wondering whether there is currently an option in EnergyPlus that allows simulation of battery degradation effects, such as:
capacity fade,
cycle aging,
From what I have explored so far, it seems that the existing battery models mainly focus on SOC and charge/discharge behavior, and Battery life calculation, but I am not sure whether degradation is already supported internally or if it would need to be implemented externally (e.g., through EMS, Python Plugin, or co-simulation approaches).
