Define Scope of git_changelog

I have included several git submodules in docs-tree. If I render some output git_changelog displays the change log of the sphinx project instead of the submodule. Is this behavior changeable?

At the moment, both sphinx-git directives just look for a git repository in or above the root of the Sphinx tree[0]. I'd happily accept a pull request which made this behaviour configurable, but I don't currently have time to work on it myself.
