when using a .xlsx resource template, I've encountered a weird bug where any formatting applied to the whole worksheet, or to a whole row, would be overridden to default excel formatting (ie calibri, 11pt, white background, grey borders).

Sorry, just to clarify, if you individually insert some formatting into a cell, that works.
But not if its applied across all cells, ie (by clicking on the row label, format pasting to the row or clicking in the top left of the sheet and adjusting cell formatting)
