What class replaces BaseMiddleware since it was deprecated?

This is in fact left from the original fork, I don't believe we'll deprecate it as now.

What do you think @mfn and @eschricker to remove this deprecated doc string?

We had the discussion elsewhere. I guess this was checked in by mistake. From my side, we can remove the doc-block.

There are in fact a couple of deprecations

The origin of all this is tymondesigns/jwt-auth#2065 . I can't believe I even added feedback to that PR, feels like eons ago.

Anyway, this was all for the version two which never materialized either, see https://github.com/tymondesigns/jwt-auth/tree/2.0

The changes in that branch looks intriguing, but I bet it takes some time + dedication to sift through, get a picture and come up with a plan.

If someone wants to dive into that 2.0 (=not me) and pick it up for our v2.0, some of those deprecations might make sense; otherwise they don't and we can remove it (we can always later re-add them 😅), but as they stand, they are indeed misleading.
