I've been using RageCoopV to splitscreen the game over Parsec with some friends and it works great, three instances of GTA V open (four is possible but stutters everywhere) and players can play just fine at 60 FPS each. Very few people probably tried to splitscreen the game before, specially with this mod, and i'm surprisingly having very few issues, but there's still some that I think should be looked upon.

  1. Option to disable traffic sync
This is the biggest CPU hog when splitscreening, as the mod tries to sync traffic for all three instances, and the FPS ends up going down to 30 or 40 with this mod with 3 instances open instead of 60 on SP . The original MP Coop mod has an option to disable this and runs at 60 there, but RageCoopV is way better at everything else.

  2. Fix bug when switching characters
Most missions become unplayable with this bug, because the whole game glitches out when trying to switch characters, even when not in a mission.

Thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the late response.

Option to disable traffic sync

There's already an option to disable traffic completely, but I assume you're asking to retain the traffic locally while not having them to sync over(in other words, sync player only)?

There're some issues regarding how this feature should be implemented. For example, what should we do for an occupied or previously player-occupied vehicle? and much desync are expected if two clients doesn't have (basically )identical world and surroundings, IMO.
Also, there's an major performance improvement in the upcoming update which may alleviate the problem, so stay tuned!

the whole game glitches out when trying to switch characters

I noticed this bug as well, hopefully I can fix it in the next release 😐
