Problems when loading a rom

When I start a gba rom, the error message 2345-0021 often appears. When it does not appear, the audio of the rom is not played. I use vba-next-switch v0.6 with hbmenu 2.0.0 on a switch with firmware 1.0.0.

Have you downloaded it from the releases page or did you compile it by yourself?

Otherwise this sounds suspiciously like this bug: switchbrew/libnx#77
The thing is the bug was already fixed in the versions of libnx and the hbmenu we're using.

I just tried to use vba-next-switch with another switch with firmware 4.1.0: here I have not encountered any problems, the rom starts correctly and the audio feels great. Is it possible that the problem is the 1.0.0 firmware of my switch?
