# Purpose and Scope {#scope}

Ractuary was requested by `r params$company` (`r params$company_short`) to provide an unpaid loss estimate for their workers' compensation loss and allocated loss adjustment expense (ALAE) as of `r params$accounting_date` using data valued as of `r params$val_date` and additional information received through `r params$info_date`.

The full scope of the analysis includes:

1. Estimation of unpaid loss & ALAE as of `r params$val_date`
2. Presentation of results to management

This report is intended for use only by `r params$company_short`.  Please advise RActuary of the release of this report to any other parties.
