minimize to tray on close #6
Comments
How in your workflow would minimize-to-tray be helpful? I'm having some difficulty understanding, sorry. |
To close the window to free up the desktop and still have it handy available in the tray, have the projects available as a context menu via RMB like the unity's hub. |
It would be nice if you could right-click the task tray icon to see a list that allows you to launch registered projects at once. |
I do agree that this feature would be useful, that said I would rather you focus on getting editors to install on linux. I've yet to install the app (because I was investigating it since my only available means is the AUR) so I don't know if it can run along side the original unity hub but if it can then maybe just defer the installation to the official one via a command and wait for it to finish before making sure it closes? Edit: Just adding in the link for the issue I mentioning here: |
I am unlikely to be able to get to this anytime soon, so anyone who wants this should consider making a PR.
Linux users should use the AppImages provided in the Releases section or compile their own binary from source. I do not submit builds to package managers. The AUR version was uploaded by a third party without my knowledge, so it is unofficial and unsupported. |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
when closed, the app is really closed so we have to relaunch it each time
