TOC bug caused by help files ending in list #15

Description

@alice-hannah

Problem

  • Following SCOTS R upgrade, the table of contents is truncated at 'Aspiring RAP' section
  • Warning during rendering along the lines of: [WARNING] Div at line 342 column 73 unclosed at line 1079 column 1, closing implicitly.
  • Narrowed down cause to 0_3 and 1_3 help files. Both of these end in an unordered list.
  • Inspection of interim self-assess.html.md file (include keep-md: true in YAML) shows that closing tags of details component are on same line as last list item for these help file.

Temporary solution

  • Add extra line with one space at end of help files for IDs 0_3 and 1_3. This forces the closing tags onto their own line in the interim md and seems to resolve the problem with the TOC.

Long-term solution

  • Try to understand inner workings of how child .qmd files are rendered. Why are these lists still formatted as - xxx in the interim md and not with <ul> tags?
  • What has changed in Quarto/R upgrade to break this?
  • Is there something that could be changed in modules/details.R to ensure it's converted properly? Better solution than including an extra line with a space.
