Do you think integrating a small SPI display will be a good choice on the reCamera V2? #54

Wow, that is a fantastic idea! Ideally one could have it as a socket and directly plug it in. What would be the limitations in terms of screen size? How did you interfere with the screen? |

Of course, it would be better if you could touch it. Just like MaixCam, I can intuitively see the picture of the camera, and it is very convenient to switch between different models. |

We are considering integrating a small SPI display (not the Raspberry Pi screen) into it to address the following difficulties when using the reCamera 2002w (the first generation reCamera):
1️⃣ 𝗢𝗯𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗣 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 – For example, immediately after connecting the Ethernet cable to the reCamera.
2️⃣ 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Such as confirming whether the current resolution, frame rate (FPS), and video recording status are functioning as intended.
3️⃣ 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 – When mounted in inaccessible locations (e.g., a ceiling corner), it is impossible to view the live feed via a web interface simultaneously.
We tested two different display sizes (1.69 and 1.47 inches) and designed a simple UI for them. Do you think it makes sense?
We are updating all the test logs here on Hackaday, make sure you followed the updates: https://hackaday.io/project/202943-customize-your-own-ai-camera-with-recamera-core
