Hello! For flashing a reComputer for use with BalenaCloud should we be using the release for github or the one supplied by Balena for a generic CM4?

Also, possible to add specific docs for the R1100 series? This one is only for the R1000: https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/reComputer_r1000_balena/

Thank you @Lee-Stone ! What about the config steps for the r1100 for use with BalenaCloud? I see some listed on the wiki for the r1000. Not clear if we would need to use those if usign the custom firmware.

Hi @Lee-Stone, so will those same configuration steps work for the r1100? Do we need to do the configuration file, since this will be with a custom binary? The wiki calls for using the generic CM4 image, so there is a conflict here in the instructions.

Hello, you need to refer to this wiki:

You can skip the "Compile R1000-balenaOS" step and use the pre-compiled image to perform the subsequent steps in the wiki:

Thank you! One question I have, however. @Lee-Stone

I am using BalenaCloud and BalenaEtcher. If I use the image built above, my device will not have the configuration to show up in my Balena fleet. However, if I use the generic BalenaCloud CM4 image it will work, but the config / drivers won't be right for my recomputer device. What is your recommendation for how to do the balenacloud auto device configuration for my r1100?

I am facing this issue right now and have tested it.

Did you follow the steps in this wiki? If you followed the wiki steps up to Step 5: Generate configuration file, your device configuration will be displayed in the Balena fleet.
