Why are signs no longer ordered alphabetically after x pages? #1516

Question came from Julie Hochgesang from the ASL Signbank, but I discovered we have the same problem:

https://signbank.cls.ru.nl/signs/show_all/?page=5 things are still alphabetical here
https://signbank.cls.ru.nl/signs/show_all/?page=50 but no longer here

I don't understand why this is.
